Berthe Aux Grands Pieds colourful heel and toe socks in jersey, made of high-quality and ethically sourced coloured silk.
Silk is a fantastic material with incomparable comfort: climate-regulating, these silk socks are cool and light in summer and warm when worn in winter. Fully Lycra-paneled, they are flexible, and the knit is full and smooth.
They are specifically knitted with a non-compressive ribbed cuff to adjust to your legs in all circumstances. Berthe Aux Grands Pieds silk socks are hand-linked: their closure is thus seamless. The addition of an extra reinforcing thread at the heel and toe significantly increases their strength and lifespan.
As the silk used is extremely fine and sensitive to friction in shoes, the heel tops are reinforced to prevent any contact of the silk with the shoe's heel counter. Vertical stripes crafted in a honeycomb pattern add transparency to this model.
"Silk" is inscribed on the toe.
These socks are made exclusively in France, in Montceau-les-Mines.
