Grape silk socks

Berthe Aux Grands Pieds socks, made from selected and certified origin coloured silk, with a mid-calf length shaft.
They are fully plaited with Lycra and knitted with a non-constricting ribbed cuff for a perfect hold on the leg without compression. Silk provides unique comfort to this model: it is said to be climate-regulating, keeping the socks cool and light in summer and warm in winter.
A true technical success, these socks are supple, with a full and smooth knit. Berthe Aux Grands Pieds silk socks feature a fine and neat finish: they are hand-linked without seams. The addition of an extra reinforcing yarn at the heel and toe significantly increases their strength and considerably extends their lifespan.
Silk is very sensitive to friction, so the heel tops are reinforced to prevent any contact of the silk with the shoe's counter.
Vertical stripes worked in honeycomb add transparency to this model. "Soie" (Silk) inscribed on the toe.
