Orange silk socks

Berthe Aux Grands Pieds socks, with coloured heel and toe, in jersey, made of very high quality, controlled-origin coloured silk.
Silk is a fantastic material with incomparable comfort: temperature-regulating, these silk socks are cool and light in summer and warm when worn in winter.
Fully Lycra-vanised, they are soft, and the knit is full and smooth. They are specifically knitted with a non-compressive ribbed cuff to adjust to your legs in all circumstances. Berthe Aux Grands Pieds silk socks are hand-linked: their closure is thus seamless.
The addition of an extra reinforcing thread at the heel and toe significantly increases their strength and lifespan. As the silk used is extremely fine and sensitive to friction inside shoes, the top of the heels are reinforced to prevent any contact of the silk with the shoe's counter.
Vertical stripes worked in a honeycomb pattern add transparency to this model. "Soie" (Silk) is inscribed at the toe.
These socks are made exclusively in France, in Montceau-les-Mines.
