Navy silk socks

Berthe Aux Grands Pieds socks, made from carefully selected and certified high-quality colored silk, with a mid-calf length shaft.
They are fully vanised with Lycra and knitted with a non-constricting ribbed cuff for a perfect hold on the leg without compression. Silk provides unique comfort to this model: it is said to be climate-regulating, meaning the socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter.
A true technical success, these socks are supple, with a full and smooth knit. Berthe Aux Grands Pieds silk socks feature a fine and neat closure: they are hand-linked without a seam. The addition of an extra reinforcing thread at the heel and toe significantly increases their strength and considerably extends their lifespan.
Silk is very sensitive to friction, so the heel tops are reinforced to prevent any contact of the silk with the shoe's counter.
Vertical honeycomb stripes add transparency to this model. "Soie" (Silk) is written at the toe.
