Silk brings unique comfort to this model: it is said to be air-conditioned, these knee-highs are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. A true technical success, they are flexible, the mesh is full and creamy. They are entirely vanisé with Lycra and knitted specifically with a non-compressing ribbed edge and will be perfectly adjusted to your legs without compressing them. The closure of these knee-highs is fine and extremely neat: they are hand-meshed without sewing. Their heels and toes are reinforced with an additional very strong thread for greater strength and durability. Berthe Aux Grands Pieds knee-highs benefit from all the know-how of the Perrin hosiery factory: the mesh is perfectly adjusted between the calf and the ankle, thanks to a specific knitting method called progressive greenhouse. Silk is very sensitive to friction, the heels are reinforced to avoid any contact of the silk with the counter of the shoe.
