Black silk high socks

These Berthe Aux Grands Pieds knee-high socks, with colored heel and toe, are entirely vanised with Lycra and knitted with a non-constricting ribbed cuff.

Featuring a high shaft up to just below the knee, they will stay perfectly on your legs without compressing them. These knee-high socks are made of high-quality colored silk of controlled origin. Fantastically, this material is said to be thermoregulating: the socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. You can wear them as you wish all year round!

Hand-linked without a seam, this finish is particularly neat and appreciated. The heel and toe are reinforced with a very resistant foamed nylon yarn, thus obtaining a solid product and significantly increasing its lifespan. These knee-high socks are also knitted with progressive compression, so the knit is perfectly adjusted between the calf and the ankle when worn.

As the silk used is sensitive to friction, the heel tops are reinforced to prevent any contact of the silk with the back of the shoe. The knit is worked in a honeycomb pattern with alternating vertical stripes and adds transparency. "Soie" (Silk) inscription at the toe.
