Berthe Aux Grands Pieds silk socks are hand-linked: meaning their toes are seamlessly closed. The addition of an extra reinforcing thread at the heel and toe significantly increases their strength and lifespan.
As the silk used is extremely fine and sensitive to friction inside shoes, the heel tops are reinforced to prevent any contact between the silk and the shoe's counter. The sunflower yellow is paired with a dark navy blue, making the whole look very chic.
The word "Soie" (Silk) is inscribed on the toe.
