Red and Black Silk Socks

Silk is a fantastic material with unparalleled comfort: climate-regulating, these silk socks are cool and light in summer and warm when worn in winter.
Fully vanised with Lycra, they are flexible, the knit is full and smooth. They are specifically knitted with a non-compressive ribbed cuff to adjust to your legs in all circumstances.
Berthe Aux Grands Pieds silk socks are hand-linked: meaning their toes are seamlessly closed.
The addition of an extra reinforcement yarn at the heel and toe significantly increases their strength and lifespan. As the silk used is extremely fine and sensitive to friction in shoes, the heel tops are reinforced to prevent any contact of the silk with the shoe's counter.
Stendhal or Jeanne Mas? Both! The dark Hermès red is combined with black in the toes and heels. The word Soie (Silk) is inscribed on the toe.
These socks are made exclusively in France, in Montceau-les-Mines.
