Saturday May 27, 2017, SCO d’Angers will play its 2nd French Cup final.
This is why I take this opportunity to pay tribute to Mr. Alphonse LE GALL who left us a year ago. Alphonse was one of the most emblematic players of the SCO.

As a winger, he actively participated in writing the beautiful pages of SCO history.
Arriving in Angers in 1955, he contributed to SCO's rise to Ligue 1 the following season.
In 1957, he was part of the epic that took the club to the final of the Coupe de France, with the goal scored in the semi-final as the highlight! He ended his career in 1963 after playing 200 matches for SCO.
