Interview #3: Pauline, founder of En Mode Française
For this new interview, I have the pleasure of welcoming Pauline, who is the founder of the site En Mode Française .
In addition to being a passionate fashionista, Pauline truly has the soul of an entrepreneur, without putting aside her values! She loves French fashion and shouts it loud and clear, both on her blog and through the choice of creations she offers on her concept store.

Berthe: Who is behind En Mode Française?
Pauline: I am Pauline, I am 32 years old, Parisian for 10 years now. Trained as a stylist/model maker and salesperson, I worked in the manufacturing of women's ready-to-wear clothing for 7 years before launching my own designer platform.
I have always been a finder of good deals and new creative concepts , except that now, I can share them with all French women thanks to my site and my blog ;-)
Berthe: What is the concept of En Mode Française?
Pauline: Enmodefrancaise.com is an online concept store , specializing in women's fashion. We offer our customers ready-to-wear, jewelry, accessories and leather goods 100% French designers .
Our goal is simple: to remove the intermediaries between the creator and the end customer . The ordered product is therefore sent directly to the customer.
We highlight the new faces of French fashion creation in a chic and trendy universe, where each designer has their own corner, the way for our customers to discover them better.
Berthe: Why only offer French creations?
Pauline: We have everything we need in France in terms of fashion and design, so why look further ?
To be more precise, our designers all have a company established in France, most of which are 100% Made in France; for others, it is unfortunately impossible to find factories that meet their requirements, so they choose European manufacturing, but always 100% controlled.
The choice of products and the quality of manufacture is the priority of our stylist who selects all the products on the site.
Berthe: How do you find your French designers?
Pauline: Ah ah, that's a secret ;-)
We go by feeling , emotion or simply love at first sight.
A lot of work is needed upstream to know what will sell in 6 months. Style , trends are obviously part of our choices, but it is also the manufacturing , the rarity , the quality of a product that takes precedence.
We meet designers at fashion fairs and events or via social media. The exchange with them is very important to us.
Berthe: En Mode Française is only available in women’s. Why this choice?
Pauline: It's a personal choice: the world of women has always fascinated me . It's the one I know best.
Moreover, my dream has always been to bring a touch of creation to the wardrobes of French women!
Berthe: The blog seems to take an important place in the life of En Mode Française. How did you think about it?
Pauline: It is an essential support today to make ourselves known .
It's a bit like a mirror of the site and a free expression ground for us. It allows us to react to creative news topics, to do interviews, or even videos that highlight the products we sell. It's a way to share even more with our customers.
Berthe: Any upcoming projects for En Mode Française?
Pauline: The site is undergoing a graphic overhaul . And spring/summer 2016 promises to be creative since we will now be offering our customers exclusive products from new collaborations with our designers .
