Interview #5: Régis Gautreau, founder, artistic director of Berthe tights and socks
Hosiery is a profession in its own right!
After studying the manufacture of his socks in France, Régis has been working since 2003 with Manufacture Perrin, the last family hosiery company founded in 1924 in Montceau-Les-Mines (Burgundy).
The players in this profession are increasingly rare. The Manufacture Perrin offers three types of machines and tools allowing the widest range of creation and finishes. It is precious.
Socks, instructions for use
Since the creation of the Berthe Aux Grands Pieds brand, Régis Gautreau has been pushing the creation and marketing of high socks in all seasons. A high sock creates a pretty silhouette, hides hair, does not get stuck with the hem of the pants and lengthens the leg!
Some of our customers also wear it for better leg support during the day during long standing missions; it is recognized that the high sock does not cut into the calf, on the contrary it subtly sheaths it, offering real well-being.
The Berthe collection of high socks and knee-highs are colorful, graphic, unique on the market. This collection available in silk, cotton, lisle thread, wool and cashmere is available in many colors, for men and women.
Ladies, you no longer have an excuse to buy high socks that match your sweetheart's!
Gentlemen, treat yourself to a touch of fantasy every day! Socks, aren't they one of your share of clothing freedoms?
