Responsible consumption: "Women in dresses, legs in tights", by Sara blogger lescheminsdunegazelle

We are pleased to share the article published by Sara, whose point of view and philosophy we share. Enjoy reading, my princesses!
"You may have noticed, especially through the seams that I have already shown you, that I love dresses and skirts. I love them so much that even in winter, between cold, frost, cracks and the feeling of imminent death, I continue to wear them, even though I have to wear 2 pairs of tights.
You have also noticed my efforts for responsible consumption. Well at the moment, my responsibility in terms of consumption is flirting with the top since I no longer shop, eh… But still… I allowed myself, as part of my #noshopping challenge, to renew the necessary: the tights that run, the panties that flap, the holey sock… all very very glamorous things, I know!
You saw me coming… so here I am on the hunt for tights. I want to avoid certain sites specializing in the sale of tights and other stockings, as well as certain well-known big brands; I doubt that they have at their heart a fair wage (outsourcing rhymes with maximization!), the preservation of rivers and ethical materials!

Your best friend, being who you know, I type "tights made in France". They are not so numerous anymore but they exist. Some designers manage to resist despite the outsourcing, despite all those who want more for less and less money, despite the loss of sure taste and a certain refinement. I share with you my little finds:
(...)
"With Berthe aux grands pieds tights, it's not a one-night stand. Choose fancy tights that are more opaque but designed to last, 100% made in France quality ." ... That says it all! I'm leaving... oh no, it's my home, here... so, so, so... There's a man behind Berthe, yes, yes!!! Behind Berthe's feet, there are also socks. The +++: 100% French manufacturing, which allows 190 jobs to be maintained in France.
The creation is done in Angers, the socks are made in Montceau-les-Mines, the tights are made in St-Bauzille-de Putois (#heartwithhands… it’s near my real home). It’s the collaboration between Berthe and the Manufacture Perrin (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) that allows us to benefit from local manufacturing. Régis Gautreau, the founder of the brand, offers the choice to those who like tights that are a little more fancy, or even downright crazy. And for those who, like me, love leggings (go play somewhere else Cristina!), Berthe also offers them! Prices start at around €28 and go up to €59… at this price you have 40% silk… which will provide warmth or freshness depending on the temperatures.
