The raw wool is subtly mottled with anthracite gray and black. The threads and stitches are carefully chosen to make this sailor sweater as chic as possible. The knit is very pleasant to wear because it is very fine thanks to the 1/1 rib knitting in gauge 12. The assembly is exemplary in overlock, chain stitch and cover, attesting to the very high quality of manufacture. These sailor sweaters, which appear ordinary, are ultimately very little so thanks to the asymmetrical elbow patches and this blue/white/red border placed on the edge of the right sleeve.
