The raw wool is subtly mottled with a red thread and a gray thread. The threads and stitches are carefully chosen so that this sailor sweater is as chic as possible. The knit is very pleasant to wear because it is very fine thanks to the 1/1 rib knitting in gauge 12. The assembly is exemplary in overlock, chain stitch and cover, attesting to the very good quality of manufacture. These sailor sweaters, banal in appearance, are ultimately very little so thanks to the asymmetrical elbow patches and this blue/white/red border placed on the edge of the right sleeve.
