Berthe Odorico women's combed wool socks
Description
Original Odorico socks
Isidore Odorico was an artist from the early 20th century. His works inspired these fancy socks for women. The devoré knit pattern, as well as the white cracks sprawling on an Icelandic blue background, refer to the monumental mosaics created by this Italo-Breton artist. The crown adorning the top of the shaft is a reference to Queen Bertrade of Laon. This sovereign, better known as "Bertha Broadfoot", inspired the name of our brand.
What are the benefits of merino socks?
Merino sheep have been bred for decades, with breeders and spinners seeking the best compromise between wool volume per animal and wool quality. Merino wool has thus become a quality standard in the textile industry due to its properties: resistance, warmth, softness, and breathability.
