Old pink ribbed silk short socks

These powder pink short ribbed knit socks are made from very high quality, controlled origin silk. They are specifically knitted with a non-constricting ribbed cuff to fit your legs in all circumstances. The overlocked edge of the cuff accentuates this very delicate and feminine side.
Silk is a so-called climate-regulating material: the socks are cool and light in summer and warm in winter. They are supple, soft to the velvety touch, and particularly comfortable.
Hand-linked without seams, this finish is particularly neat and appreciated. As the silk used is particularly sensitive to friction, the heel and toe are reinforced with an additional mercerized cotton yarn, thus making the product durable and significantly increasing its longevity.
"Soie" (Silk) knitted on the toe and "Berthe Aux Grands Pieds" on the sole, knitted directly during the sock's manufacturing.
This model of short silk socks is made exclusively in France by Manufacture Perrin 1924 in Montceau-les-Mines (71).
