BERTHE WITH BIG FEET IN FEMME ACTUELLE MAGAZINE
The mother of a sovereign in the spotlight...
Régis Gautreau grew up in Angers. He made a name for himself at the local markets by selling his first socks. But it was his meeting with the Manufacture Perrin, in Montceau Les Mines, that got him started on socks. With them, he launched Berthe Aux Grands Pieds in 2003 - in the plural, even if it seems that the mother of Charlemagne, to whom he pays tribute, would have had only one foot bigger than the other. His models are perfectly matched. Graphic and offbeat, they are available this winter in six patterns for the whole family, some of which are topped with a crown, as is the queen's duty!
