Since 2003, Berthe has entrusted the production of its socks to the Manufacture PERRIN located in Montceau-les-Mines on the Paris-Lyon axis. This hosiery company founded in 1924, in the heart of Burgundy, is the last family manufacturer to offer old machine tools and new high-performance machines. By combining tradition and innovation, Régis Gautreau, the founder - artistic director of Berthe Aux Grands Pieds creates socks with a very original design that highlights old ways and very contemporary finishes.
More than 190 skilled workers work on our collections of socks, tights, mittens and gloves across France.
The Manufacture Perrin has benefited from the State label Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) for several years; this label is a mark of recognition from the State set up to distinguish French companies with excellent artisanal and industrial know-how.

We invite you to discover the stages of sock manufacturing at the PERRIN Factory. At the end of the guided tour, you can take a shopping break at the factory store, a true concept store for made in France.
